The Liberal Democrats in Stevenage have a proud tradition of serving the people we represent. We believe in grassroots politics, and we are genuinely committed to devolving power to local people. Following the council elections on 2 May, there are still 6 Liberal Democrat Borough Councillors on Stevenage Borough Council where we retained, with handsome majorities, our seats in Chells and Manor wards.
Local Liberal Democrat, Cllr Graham Snell, was presented with an award in recognition of 25 years service to the Borough of Stevenage by Mayor, Myla Arceno. Cllr Snell was first elected to Stevenage Council in 1998 for the Mobbsbury Ward.
