Lib Dem councillor takes swift action over live goldfish being given as prizes at Stevenage Charter Fair
Lib Dem councillor Robin Parker took swift action to over the giving of live goldfish as prizes at last week’s Stevenage Charter Fair, which is condemned by the RSPCA and is banned in Scotland. When advised of this by a fellow councillor, he contacted SBC officials, but was told that they could do nothing about it, as the High Street is HCC land.
